This event is sponsored by the Norwegian Non-fiction and Translators Association NFF, hosted by the Croatian Writers' Association CWA, and coordinated by the European Writers’ Council.
The focus of reports are the Eastern European and Baltic regions, with additional sessions on best practices and key challenges.
The programme includes the following sessions:
I. PLR for Authors – The History of PLR with Emphasis on the Progressive Role Played by Authors by Trond Andreassen, NFF
II. The Authors’ Role in Developing a PLR Scheme in Finland by Jarkko Tontti, writer, lawyer. Executive Board member, PEN International.
III. Reports from the participating organisations I:
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland
IV. Reports from the participating organisations II:
Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Montenegro, and Bulgaria.
